“Let go of all the things that make you doubt yourself.” ~ Anonymous
Forget the former things. Do not consider the things of old… (Isaiah 43:18-20).
Your journey will be easier when your load is lighter.
Let it go.
You will thank me later.

Forget the former things. Do not consider the things of old… (Isaiah 43:18-20).
Your journey will be easier when your load is lighter.
Let it go.
You will thank me later.
Hold on to all of the things that make you feel strong and invincible, like a warrior.
Hold on to who you were created to be.
You are more than you realize.
“Look for the beauty in life every single day.” ~ Anonymous
Train your mind to believe the best and your eyes to see the good in every situation.
You can rise above the darkest clouds and see the rainbow through the storm.
It’s all about perspective.
Many of us are stuck in one of two realities: we’re either held hostage by the past or captive to the hopes of the future. But how many of you think about the power of now?
The past is gone and tomorrow is not promised. All we have is the power of now.
Live in the moment. Focus on the power of now and change your life one day, one habit at a time.
“Be a reflection of what you’d like to see in others.” ~ Anonymous
How you treat others will determine how others treat you. How you perceive others will determine how others perceive you. How you love others will determine how others love you.
A seed sown will reap a harvest. What harvest will you reap?

“Talk about your blessings more than you talk about your problems.” ~ Anonymous
We stress and worry over our problems almost without thought. It’s natural, automatic, and takes no real effort. Many of us are programmed to assume the worst versus the best in every situation. We have little to no expectations. If there is no expectation, there is no disappointment, right?! Wrong! This couldn’t be further from the truth. Even when we expect the worst, we don’t somehow protect ourselves from the disappointment and hurt that is sure to follow. We continue to experience the same defeated result. I would even go as far to say this line of reasoning becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
But what if we could re-program our minds to believe the best? We won’t automatically be guaranteed a desired outcome, but we are guaranteed to generate a positive response.
As we shift our perspective, the hardships of life will no longer be a debilitating problem for us. When we learn to control our response, we strip the circumstance of having power over our minds, hearts, and even our lives. The negative stimuli can no longer impact the joy in our hearts. We shift our mindset from being problem-focused to solution-focused. We regain power and control over our circumstances, rather than letting these setbacks control us.
Be intentional with your thoughts. Be purposeful with your words. Focus on the good.
What you focus on will be magnified in your life.
“Sometimes painful endings bring the best new beginnings.” ~ Shae Ross
As we prepare to close the book on this year, a year of suffering, lack, and defeat, let’s not reflect only on the pain. Let’s reflect on the good happening around us. Let us look to the light, shining through the darkness, and grab hold of the purpose in the pain.
We can all agree that this year has been one of the worst many of us have ever had to endure. As we reflect, let us lift our heads knowing that better days are coming. Let us open our eyes and the door of our hearts to see and embrace new beginnings.
Let us acknowledge that 2021 may not automatically change for the better. We are not naive—we may continue to experience remnants of 2020. We may endure a few setbacks. But let us also realize that the real change—this new beginning—will be in each and every one of us. It will be in our perspective. It will be in our resolve. And most of all, it will depend on how we decide to see the world around us. It will depend on how we love our neighbor, how we love ourselves; and how we respond to the adversities of the moment.
Better days are ahead, and the best is yet to come…to those who chase after it.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
“If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.” ~ Ryan Blair
What if you refused to allow the notion of “can’t” to infiltrate your mind and your vocabulary? What would you accomplish if you removed the idea of “impossible” from your thoughts and beliefs? How would your life change if you replaced those ideals with the conviction that “anything is possible” and “you can do all things” when your heart, mind, and actions align with these truths?
Excuses are roadblocks. They are impediments that severely limit your ability to reach your full potential and become the very best version of yourself.
No Excuses = No Limits
“When it hurts—observe. Life is trying to teach you something.” ~ Anita Krizzan
Getting stretched beyond your perceived abilities doesn’t ever feel good. Our human instincts demand that we find a way of escape, a way to remove ourselves from the hardship. But it is in these times that we must push through adversity, shifting our perspective from the struggle and the pain to the growth that will result from the process.
When you’re comfortable, you’re not growing.
“One step at a time, day by day, you are becoming who you were destined to be.” ~ Anonymous
