“The best way out is always through. “
~ Robert Frost
When hardships disrupt our lives, we tend to look for a way of escape, an out, a quick fix; anything to avoid the pain of going through. It’s human nature to avoid the discomfort adversity brings. In life’s challenges, we feel broken and stretched beyond our limit. But in adversity, we are strengthened, developed, and empowered. Empowered to grow beyond our imagination, we become a stronger, more resilient person because of it.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:2 NIV)
God is with you through adversity.
We overcome life’s challenges by simply going through them. There’s no going around it and no getting out of it.
